The Impossibles became nationally recognized as Thailand's best band in 1970, when they won the Thai Musicians Association's award for the best proffesional band in the country. They also received the same trophy for the next two concecutive years.
In September 1972, the Impossibles left Thailand for an engagement in Honolulu, Hawaii. They did a most succesful one-year gig which broke the house record at the Hawaiian Hut, In the Ala Moana Hotel, Waikiki.
In 1973, The Impossibles returned home, doing 26 concerts throughout the country and went for another house- record-breaking sensational stunt at the Indra Hotel's "Den" in Bangkok.
In Summer of 1974, they started a seven-month scandinavian tour of several top clubs in Sweden, Norway and Finland.
In 1975, the first time ever, a Thai musical group signed a contract for an LP recording with an international firm (Phonogram).
