For more than 20 years, CDandLP has been the go-to marketplace for vinyl, CDs, and cassette lovers. Collectors, rarity seekers, or simply the curious, thousands of you buy and sell records on our platform every day.
For some time now, many of you have been asking us: “And what about a mobile app, when is it coming?”
We listened, and today, we are happy to announce that the CDandLP app is finally available.
A simplified experience for buyers
With the app, CDandLP is always at your fingertips, everywhere and anytime:

Search for your favorite records in just seconds.

Behind the scenes of the project
This application is the result of true teamwork, perfectly reflecting the collaborative spirit of CDandLP.
It all started with our brilliant young developer Alexis, affectionately nicknamed “Junior Genius”. With the help of Sébastien, our “Senior Genius,” Junior kicked off the project and laid the first foundations for the mobile app. He was the one who paved the way and gave the impulse needed to turn a long-awaited idea into a real product.
When Junior’s apprenticeship ended, Kilian took over. Nicknamed “Kelooketest”- Keloo who tests-, he developed and thoroughly tested the app’s essential buyer features. Kiloukitest also set up the connections with our API. Thanks to his teamwork with Senior Genius, the app is now able to provide smooth navigation and a simple, fast, and reliable buying experience.
Very soon, Clément — we’ll see what nickname he earns — will join the team to finalize the order management features for sellers. This new space will allow them to manage their sales, catalogs, and interactions with the community even more easily. A key step that will make the app essential for all our users, both buyers and sellers on the marketplace.
The project’s visual soul was brought to life by Boshra, known for using sound effects like “Tik-tik-tik”. The nickname was obvious… With a perfect mastery of design tools, and in collaboration with Nathalie, Boshra shaped the entire UX and front-end design, ensuring ergonomics and user experience. Boshra also led the redesign of our logo and graphic identity. Thanks to this careful work, CDandLP has been visually reinvented, with refreshed colors and a modernized identity that bring new energy to our community.
But the story doesn’t end there.
Before making the app public, we went through a real-world phase of translation and testing. Hélène adapted the content into English, tested the app in every detail, and even involved her two sons, who enthusiastically joined in the bug hunt. A family step full of complicity… but also very useful to spot small things that needed fixing!
At the same time, Émilien, also known as “Dave”, redesigned the entire email system for the platform. His goal: ensure full consistency between the messages sent from the website and those generated by the app, so everything is harmonized and runs smoothly for our users.
Finally, we invited some of our long-standing buyers and sellers to discover the app in preview. Their feedback was invaluable in fine-tuning the experience and ensuring the app truly meets the needs of the community.
This collective adventure reflects our team’s commitment to listening to your expectations and building, step by step, a platform that continues to grow with you and for you.

en la app solamente el idioma es ingles y frances ,,,algo entiendo de los 2 idiomas pero mejor seria que este en Español...Gracias

Merci et joli travail à toute l'équipe.
Et une appli pour les vendeurs, ça serait chouette aussi. Ne serait ce pour la facilité à prendre des photos et les transférer directement dans l'appli. Sur le site, c'est galère.
