This month, let's celebrate 70s' Rock music.
Ambitious project isn't it ? Here at CDandLP, we like challenges ! And 70s : what a great challenge indeed...
From the legendary Let it Be to the famous Highway to Hell along with Dark Side of the Moon, the 70s gave birth to many unforgettable albums. We decided to select some of the albums which have gone down Rock history.
7Os sadly starts with the death of Jimi Hendrix followed by Janis Joplin. With them, Rock music is starting to change, new genres spring up with the lessening of the artistic freedom that defined Rock in the beginning.
It is in 1970 that The Beatles, produce their last studio album,Let it Be. The same year, the solo albums by Paul McCartney, Georges Harrison and John Lennon come to light with respectively McCartney, All Things Must Pass and Plastic Ono Band.

Year 71, the Forever 27 club regretfully welcomes Jim Morrison. Still, The Doors publish their L.A. Woman .
The Rolling Stones enter the legend with their album Sticky Fingers . The Who assert themselves with Who's next . And Them gift us with their In Reality , a real gem in British Rock.
Year 72 : a great start with Harvest by Neil Young , followed by the legendary The rise and the fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars by David Bowie . The same year Lou Reed delights us with his Transformer Glam Rock Transformer .
Year 73: Iggy and the Stooges transformed, offer us Raw Power preparing the way to the Punk movement. Pink Floyd shows us The Dark Side of the Moon and Lynyrd Skynyrd unchains his Free Bird .
Year 74, Ten Years After shares with us their genuine rock with Positive Vibrations and Rory Gallagher spreads up his exalted energy on stage along his famous Irish Tour: 74 .
Year 75, Led Zeppelin sketches a Physical Grafitti . et Kiss confirms they're fully Alive ! It's also in 74 that Queen invites us to A Night At The Opera .
Year 76, Aerosmith is Rocks and The Eagles sing Hotel California Hotel California .
During year 77 Television composes Marquee Moon and Iggy Pop collaborates with David Bowie for two solo albums: Idiot and Lust For Life .

Bonjour,
etc... etc...
