inspired by Arctic Thunder, an obscure Norwegian thrash/heavy metal band from mid eighties, this poignant, full of ambitions full-length by the black metal staple duo is following the steps taken in the past decade, but much like with previous effort it rings some bells of early unholy era even louder what is an obvious revelation for the die-hard fans of bitter and ferocious [black metal] heyday; otherwise there is a certain diversity among eight cuts, but it is way better knit together forming quite a consistency this time round, unlike those crust-punky records a while back, plus the naturalistic song titles and similarly down to earth artwork strengthen the primordial vibe
