something between an all-star ensemble and a regular band, ten years after their longplay debut and with the addition of Cyrus from Susperia on guitar, international project returns with a sophomore studio recording, where dominates far more focused and aggressive strain of old-school death metal, maintaining close connection to nineties traditions while displaying tighter structures and heavier sound than the debut, with guitars hacking through sharp riffs, drums constantly pushing forward with dramatically shifting tempos and occasional bursts of grind-like fury, while vocals roar in a rich, deep, at times surprisingly low register, and the whole performance is executed with precision and weight of collective experience, so ten tracks sound mature, cohesive and convincing
