Lithuanian black metal giants continue drifting on their own course, and if we take ten-year span between three albums, nihilism-infused music has changed quite drastically - chaotic, instinctive assault is replaced by more focused, deliberate and contrast-driven approach, with both title and content reflecting the opposition of light and darkness, fragility of existence and sharp conflicts: aggressive, cutting riffs are combined with atmospheric passages, highlighting the dynamics and emotional weight of underground music, while title track reveals previously unheard vocal range from deep growls to piercing screams, thus controlling yet not losing the extreme attitude, turning it into a tool for coherent, mature and purposeful sonic vision, marking a clear qualitative leap forward
