Alquin were one of the Dutch rock bands of the Seventies that became pretty popular.
They played the 1973 Pink Pop edition, a very big Dutch festival and played in the UK on television on The Old Grey Whistle Test.
Their second LP is produced by Derek Lawrence (Deep Purple).
In 1974 they opened for Golden Earring on their fourth UK tour and in France for The Who.
They split up in 1977 but reunited in 2003.
